2004 Nissan Micra S Auto 1.2L Other · FHZ 4358

The current roadworthiness status of this Nissan Micra is excellent, as evidenced by four consecutive clean passes with no recorded defects or advisories. The maintenance trend remains exceptionally stable, with the most recent test on 27 January 2025 confirming that the vehicle continues to meet all statutory safety standards. This clean history suggests a diligent approach to vehicle upkeep, as even minor consumable wear items have been addressed before reaching the point of failure during annual inspections. With a recorded mileage of 118,298 over twenty-two years, the vehicle averages approximately 5,377 miles per annum. This low-intensity usage pattern is consistent across the provided four-year window, indicating that the car has not been subjected to the accelerated wear associated with high-mileage commercial or motorway use. The absence of test failures or advisories across this period demonstrates that the vehicle has been kept in a roadworthy state, avoiding the common pitfalls of long-term storage such as seized calipers or perished rubber components. Despite the clean MOT record, a physical inspection must focus on age-related degradation that testers may not flag during a standard examination. You should prioritize a thorough check of the vehicle underside for structural corrosion, particularly around the subframe mounts and sills, which are common weak points for this model. Verify the condition of the automatic transmission fluid and inspect all suspension bushes for signs of perishing, as these rubber components can harden and crack over two decades regardless of low mileage. While the recent test history provides confidence in the current mechanical state, these specific areas remain the most likely sources of future expenditure.
