2013 Lexus CT 1.8L Hybrid electric (clean) · FJ13 PVN

The 2013 Lexus CT presents a stable and sound mechanical history, culminating in a clean pass on 27 October 2025 at 100,401 miles with zero defects recorded. The maintenance trend is firmly positive, demonstrating consistent roadworthiness over the last three years. A minor anomaly appears in the 2023 record where a failure is listed at 97,766 miles without any accompanying defects, immediately followed by a pass at the same mileage on the same day. This suggests a procedural abort or a rectified minor issue that left no lasting advisory. Mileage accumulation aligns closely with the vehicle's age, averaging roughly 7,700 miles annually, which indicates typical usage rather than prolonged standing or excessive wear. Between October 2022 and October 2023, the car covered 8,911 miles, but the subsequent twelve months saw a drastic drop to just 547 miles, followed by a modest 2,088 miles leading up to the most recent test. This sharp reduction in annual mileage after 2023 suggests a change in usage pattern, potentially meaning the vehicle spent significant periods stationary. Given the absence of recurring mechanical or structural advisories in the record, a buyer's physical inspection should focus on components susceptible to deterioration from age and intermittent use rather than high mileage. The period of low annual mileage after October 2023 raises the possibility of moisture-related issues, such as binding brake calipers or corroded brake discs from standing. Inspect the suspension bushes and coil springs for perishing typical of a thirteen-year-old vehicle, and check the exhaust system for corrosion. Tyre age also warrants attention; if the rubber dates back several years, cracking may be present despite adequate tread depth.
