2016 Toyota Yaris 1.3L Petrol · FV16 FJN

The current roadworthiness status of this Toyota Yaris is excellent, as evidenced by a clean MOT pass on 21 July 2025 at 57,193 miles. The vehicle has maintained a consistent record of compliance, with no recorded defects or advisories across the last four annual inspections. This trend indicates a high level of mechanical reliability and suggests that the vehicle has been subjected to diligent maintenance standards during the most recent years of its service life. The recorded mileage of 57,193 over a ten-year period averages approximately 5,700 miles per annum, which is well below the national average for a vehicle of this age. The progression of mileage is steady and logical, with no evidence of long-term storage or anomalous spikes in usage between the tests conducted in August 2022 and July 2025. This pattern points toward regular, light-duty usage, which typically preserves the drivetrain and chassis components from the premature fatigue often seen in high-mileage examples. Because the history is entirely free of advisories, there are no recurring mechanical failures or structural concerns to monitor. A prospective buyer should focus their physical inspection on the condition of consumable items that may have reached their service limit despite the low mileage, specifically checking for signs of perished rubber on suspension bushes and the presence of surface corrosion on the underside. While the MOT record confirms the vehicle is currently in a sound state, the age of the car necessitates a thorough check of the brake discs for pitting or lip wear, as low-mileage vehicles can occasionally suffer from seized calipers or surface oxidation due to infrequent use.
