2022 BMW 5 Series 4.4L Petrol · GE72 FKU

The vehicle presents a high standard of roadworthiness with a consistently clean MOT history. The most recent test conducted on 21 January 2026 at 19,705 miles passed with no defects or advisories recorded. This indicates a stable maintenance trend where the vehicle has been kept to a standard that avoids the common mechanical and structural failures typically seen during the testing process. The mileage profile is notably low for a four-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 4,926 miles per year. Between the October 2025 test at 19,667 miles and the January 2026 test at 19,705 miles, the car covered only 38 miles. This pattern suggests either very infrequent use or long periods of stationary, which typically reduces wear on the drivetrain, suspension bushings, and brake components compared to high-mileage counterparts. Despite the clean record, a buyer should perform a physical inspection focusing on issues associated with low-use vehicles. Vehicles that sit idle can suffer from flat-spototted, brake fluid moisture ingress, and perished rubber components that do not manifest during short test trips. Check the tyres for uneven wear and verify the brake discs for surface pitting, as these often occur when a car is not driven frequently enough to clear the rotors.
