2023 Land Rover R-Rover Sport DYN SE D Mhev A 3.0L Diesel · GH23 GAZ

This vehicle lacks any documented MOT history, rendering a formal roadworthiness assessment impossible. Without prior test records, there is no evidence of maintenance trends—whether stable, deteriorating, or improving. The absence of even a single MOT pass or fail means critical components like suspension integrity, brake performance, and structural corrosion cannot be evaluated against historical benchmarks. The vehicle’s current status remains entirely speculative until a test is conducted. Mileage data is similarly unreported, leaving no basis for comparison against the vehicle’s age. The 2023 registration suggests it is now approaching three years old, yet without recorded mileage, it is impossible to determine whether the vehicle has been driven sparingly or excessively. A typical Land Rover of this age might expect between 30,000 and 60,000 miles under regular use, but this range is purely speculative without concrete figures. The lack of any MOT entries also means there is no record of service intervals or adherence to manufacturer recommendations, which could indicate either neglect or a pattern of deferred maintenance. Given the complete absence of MOT data, a prospective buyer must treat this vehicle as a blank slate for inspection. Primary focus should be on suspension components , particularly the coil springs, bushes, and dampers, as these are common failure points in high-mileage or poorly maintained SUVs. The braking system —including caliper binding, disc warping, and pad thickness—must be thoroughly checked, as repeated failures in similar vehicles often stem from inadequate fluid changes or worn rotors. Structural corrosion , especially around wheel arches, sills, and the subframe, should be inspected for signs of rust penetration, which can compromise safety. Finally, the exhaust system and emissions controls warrant scrutiny, as unrecorded faults in these areas often indicate either a history of DIY repairs or outright neglect. Without prior MOT evidence, no assumptions can be made about the vehicle’s true condition.
