2013 Hyundai Unknown 3.0L Petrol · GK62 ADV

The vehicle's roadworthiness status is currently unverified. The most recent MOT record dates back to June 2022, meaning the car has been without a valid test for over four years. While the test at 128,579 miles resulted in a clean pass with no defects or advisories, this data is too old to provide a reliable indicator of the car's current mechanical state. The mileage of 128,579 miles is typical for a 2013 model, averaging nearly 10,000 miles per year. However, the records show a complete stagnation in mileage from June 2022 to July 2026. This suggests the vehicle has likely been stationary for several years. Prolonged periods of inactivity often lead to seized brake calipers, perished tyre sidewalls, and degraded battery health. A physical inspection must prioritise the effects of long-term standing. You should check for flat spots on the tyres and signs of corrosion on the brake discs. The suspension bushes and coil springs require close scrutiny for cracking or failure due to lack of use. Given the age and the gap in testing, a thorough check for structural rust on the chassis and underbody is essential. The engine and drivetrain should be evaluated for fluid degradation. Oil and coolant may have broken down, and fuel systems can suffer from varnish buildup after years of dormancy. A full service and a fresh MOT are mandatory before this vehicle can be considered roadworthy.
