2016 Toyota Auris 1.8L Hybrid electric (clean) · GN16 ABF

The vehicle presents a high standard of roadworthiness with a consistently stable and positive maintenance trend. The most recent test conducted on 25 November 2025 at 62,294 miles resulted in no defects or advisories. This clean record across the last five annual tests indicates that the previous owners have maintained the vehicle to a professional standard, preventing minor mechanical issues or structural degradation from accumulating. The mileage pattern is remarkably consistent for a decade-old vehicle, averaging approximately 6,200 miles per year. Between the November 2021 test at 36,663 miles and the November 2025 test at 62,294 miles, the car covered 25,631 miles over four years. This steady usage suggests regular operation rather than long periods of standing, which often leads to perished rubber seals or seized brake calipers. The intervals between tests remain within the standard annual window, demonstrating a disciplined approach to legal compliance. Since the MOT history shows no recurring faults regarding suspension components, brake systems, or exhaust integrity, a physical inspection should focus on standard age-related wear rather than mechanical neglect. A buyer should check the condition of rubber bushes and suspension arms for cracks, as low mileage does not always prevent material hardening over time. Given the clean history, verifying the service history for fluid changes and checking for minor surface corrosion on the underbody chassis would be the primary steps to confirm the vehicle's current condition.
