The most recent MOT on 2025-08-18 recorded multiple tyre-related issues, including front and rear tyres with cracking or perishing, and front tyres worn close to the legal limit. A slight play was noted in the front anti-roll bar linkage, which could indicate wear in suspension components. These findings suggest ongoing tyre degradation and potential suspension wear, though no major safety-critical defects were recorded. Recurring issues include tyre wear and cracking, which have been documented since 2022. The 2024 and 2025 MOTs highlight consistent tyre deterioration, while the 2024 test also noted thinning brake pads and a defective exhaust mounting. The 2023 MOT recorded a similar exhaust defect, but no other issues. The pattern shows gradual wear in tyres and minor suspension components, with no significant new defects in the latest test. The trend appears stable, with no indication of accelerating deterioration. However, the accumulation of tyre-related and suspension issues over time suggests the vehicle may require attention to these areas. The low mileage (55,881 miles over 20 years) implies infrequent use or long periods of inactivity, which can accelerate tyre perishing and component stiffness.
