2012 Vauxhall Meriva Exclusiv Cdti 1.7L Diesel · GRZ 4516

The Vauxhall Meriva passed its most recent MOT on 24 April 2025 at 102,745 miles with no defects recorded, and the maintenance trend across the supplied history reads as stable. The vehicle cleared every test from the 8 March 2022 examination at 77,107 miles through to the latest check without any advisories or reported wear. A single failure on 19 March 2024 at 90,019 miles shows no defects logged, with the car passing two days later on 21 March 2024, which points to an administrative or unrecorded rectification rather than a mechanical fault trend. Annual mileage averages around 7,339 miles against the car's 2012 build, a typical figure for this age bracket. The records show smooth accumulation: 77,107 miles in March 2022, 83,007 in February 2023, 90,019 by March 2024, and 102,745 in April 2025. No standing periods or sudden jumps appear. The clean sheet across five years of testing suggests the previous keepers addressed consumables before each examination and did not let minor wear escalate into flagged advisories. A buyer should still commission a physical inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake discs given the car is fourteen years old and past 100,000 miles. The MOT record carries no corrosion or structural integrity warnings, so underside rust and subframe condition warrant a ramp check despite the clean paper trail. The unexplained March 2024 failure with zero defects noted deserves clarification from the selling garage, as DVSA systems occasionally omit minor items that triggered the initial reject.
