2008 Vauxhall Agila 1.2L Petrol · GU58 EEF

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile, showing a consistent maintenance trend over the last three years. The most recent inspection in November 2025 at 133,138 miles passed with no defects or advisories recorded, indicating that the car currently meets the minimum legal standards. While a failure occurred in early November 2024, the immediate rectification and subsequent pass eight days later suggests the owner is proactive in addressing mechanical faults when they arise. The mileage pattern remains consistent with an 18-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 7,400 miles per annum. Between the November 2022 test at 114,645 miles and the November 2025 test at 133,138 miles, the car covered 18,493 miles, reflecting steady, light usage rather than heavy strain or long periods of neglect. The lack of long gaps between tests suggests the vehicle is regularly used, which often helps prevent the degradation of rubber components and seals. Given the absence of recorded advisories in recent tests, a physical inspection should focus on common failure points for this model at this age. A buyer should specifically check for structural corrosion on the sills and rear suspension mounting points, as the MOT does not flag surface rust until it becomes structural. Examining the condition of the suspension bushes and shock absorbers is also advisable, as these components often show signs of wear at 130,000 miles regardless of clean MOT history.
