2019 Honda Jazz 1.3L Petrol · GV68 KVE

Consistent roadworthiness is the primary characteristic of this vehicle, which has maintained a clean testing record across five examinations, culminating in a pass on 10 January 2026. The only deviation from a perfect history is a single minor defect noted during the most recent inspection concerning a defective front windscreen wiper blade. This pattern indicates that the vehicle has not suffered from recurring structural or mechanical failures, and the absence of repeated advisories suggests that wear-and-tear components have been addressed or remained within acceptable tolerances throughout the test cycles. With a total of 21,414 miles recorded over seven years, the vehicle exhibits a low average annual accumulation of approximately 3,059 miles. This usage profile is significantly lower than the national average, which often results in less wear on high-mileage drivetrain components like the transmission and engine internals. However, infrequent use can sometimes lead to the premature degradation of rubber components, such as suspension bushes and seals, which may lose their elasticity or perish when a vehicle remains stationary for extended periods. Prospective buyers should confirm that the vehicle has been operated regularly enough to prevent the seizing of brake calipers or the development of surface corrosion on brake discs. During the test drive, pay close attention to the suspension and steering feedback, as the low mileage does not exempt the vehicle from the natural aging of rubber bushings and ball joints. Listen specifically for any metallic knocking or clunking sounds when traversing uneven road surfaces or speed bumps, as these are common indicators of worn suspension linkages. While the MOT history shows no issues with the braking system, ensure the pedal feel is firm and that the vehicle tracks straight under heavy braking, which confirms that the calipers are not binding and the discs are free from warping or uneven wear. Given the minor defect flagged in the latest inspection, verify that the wiper system operates across the full sweep of the windscreen without juddering or leaving streaks, as this can be a precursor to linkage wear. Furthermore, while the structural integrity has been consistently verified, it is advisable to inspect the underside for any signs of surface oxidation on the subframe or exposed metal components, which can occasionally occur if a vehicle is stored in damp conditions. A thorough check of the engine bay for any signs of oil misting or coolant residue will complement the MOT data, confirming that the low mileage has not resulted in neglected maintenance of essential fluid-carrying systems.
