2020 Fiat Panda Sport Mhev 1.0L Petrol · H3 WEA

This Fiat Panda Sport MHEV demonstrates a consistently clean MOT history, with no defects or advisories recorded across the last three tests. The most recent inspection on 23 September 2025—just under a year ago—confirmed full compliance without failings, suggesting the vehicle has remained mechanically sound under standard test conditions. While this does not preclude undocumented issues, the absence of recurring faults implies that major systems such as suspension, brakes, and emissions have not been compromised by neglect or failure. The vehicle’s roadworthiness status remains stable, though a thorough independent inspection is essential to verify the integrity of components not routinely assessed in an MOT. The recorded mileage of 29,722 miles at the time of the latest test reflects an unusually low annual average of approximately 4,954 miles over the vehicle’s six-year lifespan. This suggests either minimal usage or prolonged periods of inactivity, which could impact consumable wear—particularly tyres, brakes, and suspension—more favourably than higher-mileage counterparts. The gaps between tests are regular, with no abrupt spikes or prolonged periods without maintenance, though the 2023 to 2024 interval (11,770 miles in under a year) stands out as the most active. Such variability might indicate occasional heavy use, warranting closer scrutiny of components prone to accelerated wear. Given the lack of MOT-reported issues, priority should be given to inspecting high-wear items not covered by the test, including the condition of suspension bushes and coil springs for stiffness or cracking, particularly around the rear axle where binding calipers were not flagged but could develop silently. Brake discs and pads should be measured for uneven wear or glazing, as hybrid systems like the MHEV often experience varied braking patterns. The hybrid battery and associated wiring should also be visually checked for corrosion or swelling, while the exhaust system merits inspection for leaks or structural corrosion, especially near the catalytic converter. Finally, the underbody should be examined for signs of rust propagation, particularly around wheel arches and the subframe, as low mileage does not guarantee immunity to environmental degradation.
