The vehicle remains roadworthy, though the maintenance trend shows a persistent issue with the front suspension. The most recent test in July 2025 at 85,434 miles confirmed a light misting of oil on the offside front shock absorber. This condition matches the advisory from the August 2024 test at 59,240 miles, indicating that the seal is weeping but has not yet reached a point of failure. The mileage profile is high for a five-year-old vehicle, averaging 17,000 miles annually. Between the August 2024 and July 2025 tests, the car covered 26,194 miles in just under eleven months. This rapid accumulation suggests heavy motorway use, which typically accelerates the wear rate of suspension components and braking systems. The consistent interval between tests shows the vehicle is used regularly but the high mileage puts significant strain on mechanical assemblies. A buyer must prioritize inspecting the offside front shock absorber to ensure the oil misting has not progressed into a significant leak that would compromise handling. The 2024 record noted that both the nearside and offside front brake discs were worn, and while they were not excessive at that time, the high mileage driven since then means these components are likely nearing the end of their functional life. Additionally, the 2024 report noted that undertrays prevented a full inspection of the underside; a physical check of the chassis is necessary to verify for hidden corrosion or damage that the tester could not see.
