2017 Nissan Qashqai 1.5L Diesel · HG66 AXV

The vehicle presents a high standard of roadworthiness, evidenced by a consistent history of clean passes. The most recent inspection conducted in January 2026 at 104,908 miles resulted in no defects or advisories. This indicates a stable maintenance trend over the last five years, suggesting that the previous owners proactively addressed mechanical and safety-related issues before they could reach a point that would result in a test failure. The mileage accumulation is remarkably consistent for a nine-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 11,600 miles per annum. Between January 2022 and January 2026, the car covered 39,010 miles, showing a steady usage pattern without periods of neglect or excessive strain. The jump of 6,824 miles between the January 2025 and 2026 tests aligns perfectly with the annual seen in previous intervals. This regular use is generally beneficial for modern components as it helps prevent brake corrosion and seal degradation that often occurs with long stationary periods. While the MOT record shows no recurring structural issues or mechanical failures, a physical inspection should focus on components subject to wear at the 100,000-mile mark. The buyer should examine the suspension bushes and coil springs for signs of fatigue, as these often reach the end of their lifespan at this mileage. Verifying the condition of the brake discs and the thickness of the remaining pads is also necessary. The lack of recorded advisories for corrosion suggests the chassis integrity has been well-maintained, but high-mileage vehicles still require a close look at underbody rust around the sills and wheel arches.
