The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness status, though the maintenance history indicates a pattern of reactive component replacement rather than preventative upkeep. The most recent test conducted in February 2022 at 992 miles resulted in a pass despite a loose offside/right driveshaft boot. While the vehicle currently meets legal requirements, the history of electrical failures and rubber degradation suggests that components are failing through age-related perish rather than mechanical wear from use. The mileage profile is exceptionally low for a 23-year-old vehicle, recording only 992 miles total, which averages to approximately 43 miles per year. There are significant temporal gaps in the testing record, notably a three-year interval between 2016 and 2019, and another three-year gap before the last recorded test. This level of inactivity suggests the vehicle spends long periods stationary, which often leads to the dry rotting of rubber seals and fluid stagnation irrespective of the low odometer reading. A buyer must conduct a thorough physical inspection of all rubber components, specifically the driveshaft Presentationers and boots which were flagged as deteriorated in 2018 and loose again in 2022. The engine oil leak noted in June 2019 requires scrutiny for perished gaskets that may have worsened due to lack of use. Furthermore, given the total lighting failure in April 2018 involving all indicators and stop lamps, the entire electrical wiring loom and bulb sockets should be tested for corrosion or brittle insulation common in long-term storage.
