2013 BMW 3 Series 3.0L Diesel · HX63 ABV

The vehicle demonstrates stable roadworthiness, with no defects recorded across six consecutive MOT tests from 2021 to 2025. The most recent test on 2025-10-03 at 137,046 miles confirmed compliance, indicating consistent maintenance practices. No recurring issues or escalating faults were flagged, suggesting the previous owner prioritized regular servicing. The absence of advisories or failures over this period reflects a mechanically sound vehicle, though age and mileage necessitate closer scrutiny of high-mileage components. The mileage progression aligns with typical annual usage, averaging approximately 10,542 miles per year since 2013. Tests conducted annually between 2021 and 2025 reveal no irregularities in mileage accumulation, with each test occurring within a 12-month window. The 2021-11-17 test at 106,040 miles to the 2022-11-18 test at 114,761 miles shows a 8,721-mile increase, consistent with average annual usage. This pattern suggests the vehicle has not been subjected to excessive wear or prolonged inactivity, though the lack of detailed defect reports limits insight into potential hidden issues. A buyer should prioritise inspecting suspension components, such as bushes and coil springs, which may degrade over 13 years of service. Brake discs and calipers should be checked for corrosion or uneven wear, as these can develop without immediate MOT failure. The exhaust system, particularly near the catalytic converter, warrants scrutiny for leaks or rust, as these are common in older vehicles. While the MOT history shows no structural integrity concerns, a thorough visual and functional assessment of these systems is essential to confirm the vehicle’s continued reliability.
