1991 Porsche 928 S 5.0L Petrol · J12 AFN

The 1991 Porsche 928 S passed its most recent MOT on 2 October 2025 at 99,562 miles with no defects recorded. The available history shows a single clean test result, so the maintenance trend cannot be judged as stable, worsening, or improving from repeated data; the car presents as roadworthy on the latest official evidence. Recorded mileage stands at 99,562 against roughly 35 years of age, equating to about 2,845 miles per year. This is low for a performance GT of this period. The lone 2025 entry gives no earlier dates to expose gaps or rapid accumulation, but the sparse record implies either light use or long stationary periods. Low annual mileage often masks aged rubber, stale fluids, and corrosion while hiding worn suspension bushes that short trips will not reveal. A buyer should physically inspect the structural integrity for chassis rust, particularly around the floor pans and suspension mounts, given the car's age and likely standing time. The brake discs, calipers, and flexible hoses need checking for seizing and perishing after limited use. Engine cooling and fuel lines deserve scrutiny for degradation invisible in a no-defect test. Without advisories in the October 2025 examination, no recurring mechanical faults emerge from the data. Prospective owners must still commission an independent inspection of coil springs, exhaust emissions, and drivetrain seals before purchase.
