1992 Honda CB750 0.7L Petrol · J616 LRK

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile with a consistent record of clean passes over the last six years. Following a structural failure in 2018, the motorcycle has passed five consecutive MOT tests without a single defect or advisory. The most recent test conducted on October 2023 at 36,522 miles indicates the vehicle remains in good condition, suggesting that the mechanical and structural components have been well-maintained since the previous repairs. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a 34-year-old machine, averaging approximately 1,074 miles per year. Data shows very minimal movement over long intervals; for instance, between September 2021 and October 2023, the vehicle covered only 182 miles. There is a significant gap in records between October 2023 and the current date. This low usage suggests the bike has likely been stored indoors and used only sporadically, which increases the risk of age-related rubber degradation and fluid oxidation despite the lack of mechanical wear. A buyer must prioritize a physical inspection of the rear swingarm following the critical failure in August 2018 at 34,491 miles for structural corrosion that reduced rigidity. While the bike has passed since then, the quality of the repair must be verified to ensure the structural integrity does not return. The 2016 failure regarding low tyre tread depth and wheel alignment indicates that previous owners occasionally neglected basic consumable maintenance. Therefore, checking the age of the tyres, brake hoses, and seals is vital, as low mileage often masks dry rot in components that perish over time rather than through use.
