2014 Mercedes-Benz E 2.1L Diesel · J8 RHT

The vehicle presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 10 April 2026 at 80,012 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing a clean sequence across the prior three annual examinations. Annual mileage sits at roughly 6,668 miles against the car's 2014 build date, a typical figure for this age of executive saloon. The records show steady accumulation: 63,078 miles in March 2023, 66,480 in March 2024, 72,140 in March 2025, and 80,012 in April 2026. A failed test on 25 March 2024 at 66,473 miles preceded the next-day pass at 66,480 miles with no defects listed, suggesting an administrative or minor pre-check rejection rather than a mechanical fault. The sparse, defect-free history gives little evidence of neglected consumables or deferred structural work. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake disc wear given the car's twelve years in service. The MOT data flags no corrosion or exhaust emission concerns, but DVSA tests do not strip components. Verify the 25 March 2024 failure reason via the full DVSA certificate, as the summary omits the defect.
