2020 Citroen C5 1.5L Diesel · J9 BXB

This Citroen C5 presents a stable and exemplary maintenance profile. The most recent MOT on 18 November 2025 at 58,975 miles resulted in a clean pass with no defects or advisories recorded. This follows a consistent pattern of clean passes in October 2024 and November 2023, suggesting a vehicle that has been maintained to a high standard without recurring mechanical failures. The mileage accumulation is consistent with typical UK usage for a six-year-old vehicle. Between the November 2023 test at 41,882 miles and the November 2025 test at 58,975 miles, the car covered 17,093 miles over two years. This average of roughly 8,500 miles per annum indicates regular use, which generally prevents the perishing of rubber seals and the seizing of brake calipers often found in low-mileage examples. The absence of any advisories over three consecutive years is uncommon and suggests a proactive approach to maintenance by the previous owner. There are no recorded issues regarding suspension bushes, coil springs, or structural corrosion. The record shows no history of tyre tread warnings or brake disc wear, implying that consumables were replaced before they reached the limit of legality. A physical inspection should still focus on standard wear items not always captured by a pass certificate. Check the condition of the cabin filters and engine oil quality to ensure service intervals were met alongside the MOTs. Given the clean record, the buyer should primarily verify that the tyre brands are consistent and that there are no unreported cosmetic damages or interior wear that would contradict the mechanical health shown in the DVSA data.
