2015 Toyota Yaris 1.3L Petrol · JA56 SSA

The Toyota Yaris passed its most recent MOT on 29 August 2025 at 31,175 miles with no defects recorded, placing its maintenance trend as stable and current within the last eleven months of today's date. A clean sheet at the annual test indicates the previous owner presented the car in sound roadworthy condition with no advisories or failures logged in the supplied record. The odometer shows 31,175 miles against an eleven-year lifespan, equating to roughly 2,834 miles per year. This is low for a 2015 supermini and suggests either gentle local use or extended standing periods. The MOT history supplied contains only the single 2025 entry, so no rapid accumulation or gap can be charted across prior years; the sparse data gives no evidence of neglect through high wear but equally leaves earlier condition unverified. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection beneath the car. Low mileage with long idle spells accelerates perishable degradation that an MOT pass will not always expose: check suspension bushes and coil springs for cracking from static load, and inspect brake discs for surface corrosion after standing. Examine subframes and sills for structural rust, as moisture trapped during storage drives hidden decay. Verify service stamps and confirm fluid changes occurred despite the low annual distance. The absent failure history is reassuring, yet the thin record means a physical check of tyres, wiper blades, and underbody integrity remains the prudent step before purchase.
