2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE 3.0L Petrol · JD51 EGG

The 2016 Mercedes-Benz GLE presents a clean roadworthiness status with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 28 October 2025 at 52,718 miles passed with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken sequence of passes since the earliest entry in this history. No advisories or mechanical faults appear at any stage, indicating the vehicle has not required corrective work within the recorded MOT cycle. Annual mileage sits well below typical expectations for a ten-year-old vehicle. The records show 25,481 miles in July 2021, rising to 29,710 by July 2022, 37,457 in October 2023, 45,586 in October 2024, and 52,718 in October 2025. That equates to roughly 5,200 miles per year. A gap exists between the July 2022 and October 2023 tests of over fifteen months, yet the mileage increase of 7,747 miles across that span remains modest. Low yearly use of this order often points to short local journeys or extended periods of inactivity rather than sustained motorway driving. The absence of recorded advisories means the MOT data alone raises no red flags on suspension bushes, brake discs, coil springs, or structural corrosion. A clean sheet across five tests suggests previous owners kept the car to a basic compliant standard. The tester flagged nothing on exhaust emissions or binding calipers at any point. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection beneath the sills and subframes given the vehicle's age and likely standing periods, as surface corrosion can develop outside the MOT window. Verify service history matches the low mileage, check tyre sidewall condition for perishing from inactivity, and confirm brake function after storage. The MOT record supports purchase confidence, but it is not a substitute for a physical appraisal.
