2014 Mercedes-Benz E 2.1L Diesel · JF53 XXX

The 2014 Mercedes-Benz E presents as roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 16 December 2025 at 102,678 miles returned a pass with no defects recorded, continuing an unbroken sequence of clean MOT outcomes across the available history. No advisories or mechanical faults appear at any stage, indicating the vehicle has not required corrective work within the test regime over the past four years. Annual mileage sits at a typical level for a twelve-year-old vehicle, averaging roughly 8,556 miles per year against the current 102,678 miles. The records show consistent yearly use: 52,753 miles on 4 January 2022, rising to 65,923 by 3 January 2023, then 84,263 on 21 December 2023, 94,988 on 6 December 2024, and 102,678 on 16 December 2025. The step from 65,923 to 84,263 miles between the January 2023 and December 2023 tests reflects around 18,000 miles in eleven months, above the yearly average but not abnormal. The data is sparse in fault terms, with every entry showing a pass and no advisories logged. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection of suspension bushes, coil springs, brake discs, and subframe corrosion given the vehicle's age and the MOT's limited scope on hidden wear. The clean record implies previous owners kept basic upkeep current, yet the absence of advisories means consumable items such as tyres, wiper blades, and exhaust emissions were within limits but unmeasured between tests. Given no recurring problems or structural flags in the official record, the mechanical risk centres on age-related deterioration not captured by pass-only tests. Verify service history matches the mileage increments and confirm underbody structural integrity before purchase.
