2011 Hyundai Santa FE 2.2L Diesel · JH06 NOV

This vehicle presents an exceptionally stable roadworthiness profile. The most recent MOT test on 16 January 2026 at 104,716 miles resulted in a clean pass with no defects recorded. This follows a consistent pattern of five consecutive years of passes without a single advisory or failure, indicating a vehicle that is maintained to a high standard. The mileage accumulation is steady and typical for a 2011 model. Between 18 January 2022 and 16 January 2026, the odometer rose from 93,214 to 104,716 miles. This represents a consistent annual average of roughly 2,800 to 3,000 miles over the last four years, suggesting the car is used regularly but not excessively. There are no erratic jumps in mileage that would indicate periods of heavy commercial use or prolonged stagnation. The absence of recorded advisories over a five-year period is rare for a vehicle of this age. The tester flagged no issues with suspension bushes, brake discs, or exhaust emissions across all entries. This suggests the previous owner proactively addressed wear and tear before the annual inspections. A physical inspection should still focus on age-related degradation not always captured in a standard MOT. Check for surface corrosion on the chassis and subframes, as well as the condition of rubber seals and coolant hoses. While the record is clean, verifying the service history for oil changes and timing belt intervals is essential to ensure the mechanical health matches the MOT data.
