2011 Infiniti EX 3.7L Petrol · JH11 FOX

The vehicle has demonstrated consistent roadworthiness over the past five consecutive MOT tests, all passing without any recorded defects or advisories. The most recent inspection on 26 November 2025, at 76,812 miles, confirms no issues were found, reinforcing a stable maintenance trend. There is no evidence of recurring mechanical failures, corrosion-related advisories, or structural concerns in the official record. However, the absence of defects does not preclude hidden wear—particularly in high-stress components like suspension bushes, coil springs, or drivetrain joints—given the vehicle’s age and mileage. The recorded mileage of 76,812 miles over 15 years suggests unusually low annual usage, averaging just 5,121 miles per year. This pattern is atypical for a vehicle of this age and could indicate prolonged periods of inactivity, which may accelerate certain forms of degradation, such as suspension rubber perishing or brake fluid degradation. The consistent annual mileage increments—ranging from 2,672 to 3,598 miles between tests—rule out rapid deterioration but do not guarantee the vehicle has been stored under ideal conditions. Buyers should note that low mileage does not equate to low wear; rather, it may reflect deferred maintenance or neglect of less frequent but critical checks. Given the lack of MOT advisories or defects, the primary areas for a prospective buyer to investigate independently would be the suspension system, particularly the condition of rear suspension bushes and coil springs, which are prone to cracking or separation over time. The brakes, though never flagged, should be scrutinised for uneven wear, binding calipers, or excessive corrosion on the discs and pads, especially if the vehicle has spent extended periods stationary. Structural integrity, including underbody corrosion around the sills, wheel arches, and exhaust system, warrants close inspection, as rust can compromise load-bearing components without immediate MOT failure. Finally, the exhaust emissions system—while not explicitly tested in these records—should be checked for leaks or catalytic converter degradation, particularly if the vehicle has been driven infrequently.
