1992 Kawasaki KDX125 0.1L Petrol · K886 BJB

A consistent record of roadworthiness is evident from the available DVSA data, with the tests on 1 November 2023 and 8 October 2022 both resulting in passes without any defects or advisories. This indicates a stable mechanical state during those specific inspections, though the available history is limited to a two-year window. The absence of recorded mileage data prevents an analysis of the annual accumulation rate or an assessment of engine wear relative to the vehicle's 1992 manufacture date. This lack of data means the mechanical fatigue of the chassis and the internal condition of the engine cannot be quantified through official records, leaving the total usage history unknown. Because the vehicle has not undergone a recorded MOT test since November 2023, it has been effectively off the road or untested for nearly three years. This period of inactivity necessitates a thorough check of the fuel system for deposits or varnish and an inspection of all rubber seals, particularly in the fork legs and rear suspension, to ensure they have not perished or leaked while stationary. A physical inspection should focus on the structural integrity of the frame and swingarm for any corrosion that may have developed since the last clean test. During a test drive, the buyer should listen for abnormal engine noise and feel for any hesitation in the throttle response or binding in the brake calipers, ensuring the vehicle operates smoothly after its extended absence from the testing cycle.
