2019 Toyota Corolla 1.8L Hybrid electric (clean) · KD19 KYT

The vehicle maintains a high standard of roadworthiness based on a consistent history of clean MOT passes. The most recent test conducted on 10 July 2024 at 61,605 miles resulted in no defects or advisories. This indicates a stable maintenance trend where the previous owners have clearly proactively managed the vehicle, preventing minor mechanical or structural issues from manifesting during the annual inspection process. The mileage accumulation is remarkably consistent for a seven-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 8,800 miles per year. Between the July 2022 test at 32,266 miles and the 2023 test at 47,693 miles, the car covered 15,427 miles, followed by another 13,912 miles leading up to the current record of 61,605 miles. This pattern suggests regular use rather than long periods of standing, which is generally beneficial for maintaining seals and battery health within the drivetrain. Because the record shows no history of suspension wear, corrosion, or brake issues, a physical inspection should focus on standard consumable wear that falls outside the scope of an MOT. A buyer should check the condition of the tyres for uneven wear and inspect the brake pads and discs for thickness. Given the mileage and the clean history, there are no red flags regarding structural neglect or recurring mechanical failures, but verifying the fluid levels and checking for any minor leaks remains a prudent practice for a vehicle of this age.
