2007 Vauxhall Vectra SRI Cdti 120 1.9L Heavy oil · KG07 KVZ

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile, though the record shows a significant lapse in recent testing. The most recent MOT test conducted in March 2022 at 109,054 miles passed with no defects recorded, indicating the car was in good mechanical condition at that time. However, because over four years have passed since that last inspection, the vehicle is currently overdue for its annual road test. This gap in documentation means the current state of the safety components and structural integrity remains unknown without a fresh inspection. The mileage pattern is notably low for a 19-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 5,740 miles per year. Data shows a clear period of use between April 2018 at 81,143 miles and June 2019 at 91,973 miles, covering over 10,000 miles in a single year. The vehicle then sat for several years, gaining only 17,081 miles by early 2022. While low mileage generally reduces wear on the drivetrain and engine components, long periods of standing can lead to degradation of rubber components, seized calipers, and fluid breakdown. A buyer must perform a thorough physical inspection to address the risks associated with low-use age patterns. Focus on the braking system for signs of corrosion or binding, as stationary vehicles often suffer from pitted discs. Given the age of the Vectra, check the suspension bushes for cracking and inspect the chassis for structural rust, particularly along the sills. Since no defects have been recorded since 2022, an immediate MOT is required to verify that no new structural failures or mechanical leaks have developed during the extended period of inactivity.
