2012 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2L Petrol · KP12 AOL

The vehicle is currently roadworthy with a stable maintenance trend. The most recent test on 7 August 2025 at 77,661 miles resulted in a pass with no defects recorded. While the record shows failures on 30 July 2025 and 2 August 2024, the lack of specific defect data for those failures suggests they were likely administrative or minor issues resolved immediately, as the car passed shortly after in both instances. The mileage is low for a 14 year old vehicle, averaging roughly 5,547 miles per year. There was a notable increase in usage between July 2023 and August 2024, where the odometer rose from 62,186 to 70,279 miles. Since then, the vehicle has covered another 7,382 miles over the following year. This steady, low-volume usage generally reduces wear on the drivetrain and interior, though long periods of inactivity can sometimes lead to perished rubber components. A physical inspection should focus on areas not explicitly detailed in the clean MOT records. The buyer should check for corrosion on the chassis and sills, as these are common failure points for Corsas of this era regardless of mileage. Inspect the condition of the brake discs and pads for surface rust or pitting, which often occurs in low-mileage cars. Check the suspension bushes and coil springs for signs of cracking or fatigue. While the MOT history is clean of advisories, the age of the vehicle means rubber seals and tyres may be aged even if the tread depth remains legal. Verify the service history to ensure the engine oil and cambelt have been changed based on time intervals rather than just mileage.
