2012 SEAT Leon 1.6L Diesel · KP12 FZG

The vehicle presents a stable roadworthiness profile based on the most recent recorded data. The final MOT conducted on 11 April 2022 at 135,091 miles passed with no recorded defects, indicating that the car was in a sound mechanical state at that time. However, because no tests have been recorded for over four years since that entry, the current roadworthiness remains unverified and the structural integrity of the vehicle may have degraded significantly without a professional inspection. The mileage pattern is consistent with typical annual usage for a fourteen-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 9,650 miles per annum. The record shows a significant gap in testing between May 2019 and March 2021, where the car covered only 2,728 miles over nearly two years. Following this period, usage increased again, with 4,077 miles covered between the March 2021 and April 2022 tests. This intermittent usage can sometimes lead to the degradation of rubber-based components or brake caliper seizing, despite the relatively low total mileage. A buyer must prioritise a thorough physical inspection of the chassis and suspension to check for structural corrosion that often develops during long periods of standing. While the previous failures in 2019 and 2021 resulted immediate re-tests and passes, the lack of data since 2022 is a primary concern. Specific attention should be paid to the condition of the suspension bushes, coil springs, and brake system, as the historical record provides no data on the wear levels of these components over the last four years of operation.
