2008 Lexus RX450H 3.3L Hybrid electric · KT58 CXO

The vehicle presents a strong roadworthiness profile, showing a clearly improving maintenance trend over the last four years. Following the most recent test in August 2024 at 110,035 miles, the car passed with no defects or advisories recorded. This indicates that the mechanical issues identified in previous years have been addressed, and the vehicle currently meets the required standard for safety and environmental compliance. The mileage pattern is consistent with the vehicle's age, averaging approximately 6,100 miles per year over its 18-year lifespan. Data shows a steady accumulation of use, such as the 7,000 miles driven between August 2022 and 2023, and roughly 5,700 miles between 2023 and 2024. This low annual mileage suggests regular use which is generally preferable for maintaining rubber components and hybrid systems compared to long periods of stagnation or high-mileage commuting. While the recent records are clean, a buyer should perform a physical inspection of the braking system and suspension components. The test in November 2020 specifically flagged worn and pitted rear brake discs alongside a worn nearside rear tyre. Given the age of the Lexus, it is vital to verify that the current brake discs are free of corrosion and that the suspension bushes are not showing signs of cracking, as these are common areas of wear on this model irrespective of low mileage.
