2018 Mercedes-Benz X 2.3L Diesel · KU68 ADV

The vehicle presents a high standard of roadworthiness with a consistently stable maintenance trend. The most recent MOT test conducted in June 2026 at 38,072 miles resulted in a pass with no defects recorded, mirroring the results of the previous three inspections. This clean history suggests the vehicle has been well-maintained and has not suffered from mechanical or structural failures that typically trigger MOT advisories. The mileage pattern is notably low for an eight-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 4,759 miles per year. Data shows a significant gap between December 2022 and June 2025 where the vehicle covered only 143 miles over two years, suggesting periods of inactivity or minimal use. However, the interval between June 2025 and June 2026 saw a more typical accumulation of 9,875 miles. Despite this recent increase in usage, the overall mileage indicates that wear on the drivetrain and engine components remains low compared to higher mileage counterparts. Given the lack of recorded faults, a buyer should focus their physical inspection on components affected by low-mileage usage patterns. Long periods of standing can lead to rubber degradation in suspension bushes, tyres, and brake hoses. The buyer should check the brake discs for corrosion or seized calipers, as infrequent use often prevents brakes from clearing themselves. Additionally, verifying the chassis for early-stage rust is prudent, though the MOT record shows no history of structural integrity issues in previous tests.
