2016 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque 2.0L Diesel · LA16 AEB

The 2016 Range Rover Evoque presents a stable and clean roadworthiness record, with the most recent test on 20 September 2022 at 32,183 miles returning a pass and no defects recorded. Across four consecutive annual tests from 2019 to 2022, the vehicle cleared every examination without advisories, indicating no worsening trend and no unresolved mechanical or structural concerns logged by DVLA testers. The odometer shows remarkably low use for a ten-year-old vehicle. It rose from 21,641 miles at the 24 September 2019 test to 27,073 miles by 16 September 2021, then to 32,183 miles by 20 September 2022. That equates to roughly 3,200 miles per year. The sparse, defect-free history offers no evidence of rapid accumulation or neglected intervals, though the 2022 result is now nearly four years old relative to today's date of 17 July 2026. A buyer should still commission an independent inspection before purchase. Long standing periods implied by low mileage can allow brake calipers to seize, tyres to develop flat spots, and suspension bushes to harden or crack without MOT detection. The Evoque's aluminium structure and subframes warrant checks for corrosion at chassis mounting points and sill sections, as the clean record simply means no failure was present at test rather than confirming current condition. Given the absence of any recorded advisories on brake discs, exhaust emissions, or coil springs, prior keepers appear to have maintained the vehicle to a basic standard. The expired test status means the car cannot be legally driven until a fresh MOT is secured, and that test should scrutinise handbrake efficiency, driveshaft gaiters, and front suspension arm bushes for age-related degradation.
