2022 Horwin EK3 Electric · LG22 BXB

This vehicle lacks any documented MOT history, rendering a formal roadworthiness assessment impossible. Without test dates, mileage readings, or advisory outcomes, there is no basis to evaluate maintenance trends, structural integrity, or recurring mechanical failures. The absence of records suggests either a first-time registration or deliberate omission of compliance documentation, both of which are red flags for a used-car buyer. Mileage data is entirely absent, precluding any analysis of usage patterns or wear rates. The vehicle’s 2022 registration implies it should have undergone its first MOT by May 2023, yet no record exists. This gap alone raises concerns about either irregular servicing or a history of non-compliance with UK roadworthiness laws. Without verification of maintenance intervals, the true condition of high-wear components—such as suspension bushes, brake calipers, or timing belts—cannot be inferred. Given the complete lack of MOT data, a prospective buyer must treat this vehicle as a blank slate in terms of mechanical history. Primary focus areas should include the suspension system for worn or leaking bushes, coil springs, or subframe corrosion, particularly under the sills and wheel arches. The braking system warrants immediate scrutiny: check for uneven pad wear, binding calipers, or warped discs, as past failures often recur without intervention. Exhaust emissions should also be tested for leaks or excessive smoke, as unrecorded servicing may have allowed catalytic converter degradation. Finally, inspect the chassis for signs of structural rust, especially around welds and underbody panels, where corrosion can compromise safety without visible surface damage. A pre-purchase inspection is essential to validate these critical components.
