2021 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2.1L Diesel · LX21 ABV

The vehicle presents a high standard of roadworthiness, evidenced by a consistently clean MOT history. The most recent test conducted on 7 August 2025 at 47,441 miles resulted in a pass with no defects or advisories. This stable trend across four consecutive years indicates that the vehicle has been maintained to a professional standard and shows no signs of recurring mechanical failure or structural neglect. The mileage pattern is consistent with typical light-use commercial application, averaging approximately 9,500 miles per annum. Between the July 2022 test at 9,221 miles and the July 2023 test at 19,957 miles, the vehicle covered roughly 10,000 miles. The subsequent intervals remain steady, with 12,309 miles covered before the 2024 test and 15,175 miles prior to the 2025 test. This predictable usage reduces the likelihood of undue stress on the drivetrain and suspension components compared to high-mileage alternatives. While the MOT record shows no recorded faults, a physical inspection should still focus on common wear points for a Mercedes Sprinter of this age. Given the age and mileage, the buyer should verify the condition of the suspension bushes and coil springs for signs of cracking, as these often degrade before an MOT failure. Checking the brake discs and pads for uneven wear or thinning, and inspecting the chassis for early-stage corrosion, will ensure the structural integrity remains as sound as the records suggest.
