The vehicle presents a high standard of roadworthiness, evidenced by the most recent MOT test on 19 January 2026 at 53,054 miles where it passed with no recorded defects. This reflects a remarkably stable maintenance trend over the last five years. The consistent absence of failures or even advisories across multiple annual and biennial intervals suggests that the previous owners maintained the car proactively and addressed potential issues before they became failures. The mileage profile is exceptionally low for an eleven-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 4,800 miles per annum. Between December 2021 and January 2026, the car covered 16,879 miles, indicating primarily short-distance urban use. A notable gap exists between the December 2022 and January 2024 tests where the vehicle covered only 3,058 miles, yet it maintained a clean test record throughout. This low mileage generally implies less mechanical wear on the drivetrain and engine components, though it can introduce risks related to rubber components degrading from infrequent use. Despite the clean electronic record, a physical inspection should focus on components affected by low-mileage use. The buyer must check for perished suspension bushes, split rubber boots, and aging brake hoses which often fail when a vehicle sits for extended periods. Given the age, the inspector should examine the brake discs for surface corrosion or pitting due to lack of abrasive cleaning. The structural integrity of the chassis for under rust remains a priority, as low mileage does not prevent environmental oxidation regardless of the distance travelled.
