The vehicle maintains a stable roadworthiness status, evidenced by a consecutive string of clean MOT passes. The most recent test on 10 October 2023 at 83,211 miles resulted in no defects or advisories. This consistency suggests that the car has likely been kept in a climate-controlled environment and subjected to preventative maintenance, as the mechanical and structural failures typical of vehicles of this age are absent from the record. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a thirty-year-old vehicle, averaging approximately 2,774 miles per year. Between November 2016 and December 2020, the car covered only 53 miles, indicating long periods of stationary storage or very minimal use. The interval between December 2020 and 2023 shows a slight increase in activity, with only 84 miles recorded over that three-year span. While this low mileage reduces wear on consumable items like tyres and brake pads, it increases the risk of component degradation where rubber seals, hoses, and fluids fail due to time rather than friction. A physical inspection must focus on the risks associated with low-mileage storage. A buyer should specifically check for signs of perished suspension bushings, degraded coolant hoses, and fluid leaks that a stationary vehicle would not necessarily develop. Because the record shows no structural corrosion issues, a thorough check of the chassis and underbody for surface rust is still necessary to ensure the integrity remains uncomprom. Additionally, the braking system should be inspected for seized calipers or corroded discs which often occur when a performance car remains inactive for extended periods.
