2018 Piaggio Vespa 0.1L Petrol · NG18 HJZ

The vehicle maintains a clean roadworthiness status based on the most recent inspection. On 24 May 2024 at 531 miles, the scooter passed with no defects or advisories recorded. This indicates a stable maintenance history where the vehicle met all DVSA safety and environmental standards during its last documented assessment. The mileage pattern is exceptionally low for a vehicle eight years of age, with only 531 miles recorded over its entire life. This averages to approximately 66 miles per year, suggesting the scooter has spent significant periods in storage rather than active use. While low mileage typically reduces wear on the drivetrain and engine components, such infrequent use often introduces specific mechanical risks related to the degradation of fluids and rubber-based parts. A buyer must perform a thorough physical inspection to address issues common with long-term standing. Check the tyres for flat spotting, sidewall cracking, and low pressure, as rubber ages regardless of tread depth. The brake system should be tested for seized calipers or corroded discs which often occur when sitting stationary. Additionally, inspect the fuel for degradation and check the oil and fluids to ensure they have not oxidized or absorbed moisture during the long intervals between use.
