2009 Vauxhall Corsa SXI 1.2L Petrol · NNZ 7121

The vehicle currently presents a stable roadworthiness status following a clean inspection history. The most recent MOT test conducted on 30 May 2025 at 101,539 miles resulted in no defects, indicating that the primary mechanical and safety components met the required standards. This result represents an improvement over the previous 2023 and 2024 failures, suggesting that the previous owner successfully addressed and rectified the issues identified by the tester. At 17 years old, the recorded mileage of 101,539 miles averages to approximately 6,000 miles per year, which is significantly below the UK national average for a vehicle of this age. The data shows consistent usage patterns, with roughly 4,400 miles driven between May 2024 and May 2025, and approximately 5,800 miles between March 2023 and May 2024. While low mileage generally suggests less wear on the drivetrain and engine, it also increases the risk of rubber-based components degrading or brake seizing due to stationary periods. A buyer should focus their physical inspection on the structural integrity and suspension components, as older Vauxhall models are prone to corrosion in the sills and rear wheel arches. Despite the recent clean passes, the previous failures in 2023 and 2024 indicate that the vehicle has required intervention to remain compliant. Given the low annual mileage relative to age, a close check is necessary for perished suspension bushes and the condition of the brake discs to ensure that low use has not led to excessive surface rust or binding calipers.
