The vehicle's overall roadworthiness is currently poor, as evidenced by the sequence of two failed MOT tests conducted in May 2022. This indicates that the vehicle has not been maintained for the required 1200-mile interval since the most recent failure. The first failure occurred on 2022-05-23 at 84,864 miles, followed by a second failure on 2022-05-25 at 84,865 miles, confirming a consistent lack of maintenance. The vehicle cannot be driven at this age due to the risk of catastrophic failure. The mileage data reveals a significant gap between the vehicle's age and its recorded mileage, which is a critical indicator of potential wear. The vehicle is approximately 22 years old with only 84,865 miles, representing roughly 3,858 miles per year. This low mileage suggests the vehicle may have been driven less frequently than the standard 3,000 miles per year, or it may have been parked for extended periods. However, the fact that two failures occurred within a short span of 24 days between these two tests highlights that the vehicle was not maintained for the full 1200-mile interval required for safe operation. Given the two failed tests in May 2022 and the lack of MOTs since, the vehicle exhibits a clear trend of worsening roadworthiness. The mechanical components, specifically the brakes, suspension, and drivetrain, are likely in a deteriorating state due to the age and the frequency of the two failures. The buyer must inspect the vehicle in person to check for structural integrity, corrosion, and the condition of the suspension bushings and coil springs, which are critical for the vehicle's safety and performance.
