2022 Jaguar I-Pace HSE Black Electric · OE22 ACJ

The most recent MOT test conducted on 28 March 2026 resulted in a pass with no defects recorded. This follows a similarly clean result from the previous year, indicating a stable and positive maintenance trend. The absence of any recorded advisories suggests that the vehicle's essential safety components, including lighting, braking systems, and structural integrity, have been in good working order during recent inspections. This consistency provides a level of confidence regarding the vehicle's immediate roadworthiness and suggests that no significant mechanical degradation was identified by the tester during the inspection process. With a recorded mileage of 30,731 miles over approximately four years, the vehicle has covered an average of roughly 7,683 miles per year. This usage profile is considered typical for a modern premium vehicle and suggests a balanced driving pattern. It avoids the extremes of very high mileage, which would accelerate the wear on consumables like suspension bushes and tyres, and it also avoids the risks associated with very low mileage, such as fluid stagnation or battery degradation from long periods of inactivity. The mileage accumulation appears consistent with regular, moderate use. As the MOT history is clean, your physical inspection should focus on age-related wear and time-based maintenance rather than specific recorded faults. Closely examine the tyres for any signs of perishing or sidewall cracking, which can occur even if tread depth remains high. You should also inspect the brake discs for excessive surface corrosion or pitting, a common occurrence in electric vehicles where regenerative braking reduces the frequency of friction brake usage. During your test drive, listen for any suspension clunks or knocks that might indicate worn bushings or dampers, and check for any brake shudder or binding that could suggest sticking calipers. Furthermore, it is essential to verify the service history to ensure that all manufacturer-recommended intervals for fluid changes and electrical system checks have been met. Given the vehicle's age, check the condition of the 12V auxiliary battery and ensure the high-voltage charging connections are free from debris or signs of wear. Confirming that the vehicle has been serviced according to the calendar rather than just mileage will be crucial for the long-term health of the complex electrical and thermal management systems inherent to this model.
