A clean MOT history dominates the picture, with two consecutive passes and only a single minor advisory for a windscreen defect, indicating that no recurring safety‑critical failures have been recorded. The most recent test on 4 November 2025 confirmed the car met all statutory requirements, reinforcing the impression of consistent roadworthiness across the documented period. At 38,191 mi the car averages roughly 9,500 mi per year, a mileage rate that sits comfortably within normal usage for a four‑year‑old performance sedan. The absence of any multi‑year testing gaps suggests the vehicle has been driven regularly rather than sitting idle for extended periods, which generally limits the risk of age‑related deterioration in rubber components and fluid seals. The only recorded defect concerns the windscreen, noted as damaged but not impairing the driver’s view. A prospective buyer should inspect the glass for cracks, chips, or delamination, paying particular attention to the edges and the area around the wiper sweep. Verify that the seal is intact, that water does not leak onto the dashboard during a rain simulation, and that the wipers clear the surface without chatter. Confirm that any repair or replacement has been carried out to a standard that restores full structural integrity, as the windscreen contributes to occupant protection and the proper deployment of airbags. While the MOT record does not flag other systems, a thorough pre‑purchase examination remains prudent for a high‑performance model. Check the condition of the brake discs and pads for wear, assess tyre tread depth and uniformity, and listen for any unusual noises from the suspension when traversing bumps. Confirm that electronic aids such as stability control and adaptive dampers respond correctly, and ensure there is no evidence of corrosion on chassis mounting points that could compromise handling. These checks will complement the MOT data and give a clearer picture of the car’s overall mechanical health.
