2011 Audi A5 1.7L Diesel · PF11 ABU

The vehicle demonstrates stable roadworthiness, with no defects recorded in its most recent MOT on 2026-01-14 at 146,925 miles. All prior tests from 2022 to 2025 also showed passing results with no recorded issues, indicating consistent maintenance. The absence of advisories or failures over this five-year span suggests the owner prioritized regular servicing, though no specific mechanical concerns are documented. The car’s age and mileage align with typical usage patterns, but the lack of recurring faults implies no systemic deterioration in critical systems. The mileage progression shows gradual accumulation, with annual increases of approximately 8,000–10,000 miles, reflecting average annual usage. Notably, the 2022-01-19 test at 118,297 miles to 2023-01-17 at 120,507 miles saw a smaller jump of 2,210 miles, which may indicate reduced activity or infrequent use during that period. However, the absence of significant gaps in the MOT record confirms continuous compliance with legal standards. This pattern suggests the vehicle has not been subjected to excessive wear, though higher mileage could still impact components like suspension bushes, brake discs, or exhaust emissions over time. While no specific faults are listed, the car’s age and mileage warrant scrutiny of high-mileage components. Inspectors should check for corrosion in the exhaust system, wear on brake calipers or discs, and suspension bushings, as these often degrade without immediate MOT failure. The lack of advisories on tyre tread or steering components is positive, but a physical inspection is advised to confirm the condition of rubber seals, fluid leaks, and structural integrity. Buyers should also verify service history for any unrecorded repairs, as the MOT data alone does not capture all maintenance activities.
