The DVSA database holds no MOT records for this 2025 Honda HR-V, which is consistent with a vehicle that has not yet reached its third anniversary of registration. A first test will not become due until approximately 2028, so no roadworthiness trend can be established from official data. The absence of entries is neither positive nor negative; it simply reflects the vehicle's age. Recorded mileage is unknown and no historical readings exist to assess accumulation rates or identify periods of high use. Without a sequence of test certificates, it is impossible to verify whether the current odometer reading aligns with the vehicle's age or to spot any discrepancies that might suggest clocking or prolonged storage. Any mileage figure presented at point of sale must be treated as unverified against the official record. A pre-purchase inspection should focus on areas that deteriorate regardless of MOT status. Check the brake discs for early lip formation or corrosion bands, particularly on the rear rotors where light use can allow surface rust to build. Examine the suspension bushes and coil springs for signs of premature cracking or fluid leaks from the dampers. Verify the operation of the e-CVT transmission through all driving modes, listening for unusual whine or hesitation, and confirm the hybrid battery cooling intake is free of debris. Panel gaps and paint depth readings will reveal any accident repairs not yet recorded on a condition report.
