2017 Mercedes-Benz CLA 1.6L Petrol · PN67 ABX

This vehicle demonstrates an exceptional roadworthiness trend, remaining stable and defect-free across its entire recorded history. The most recent MOT on 31 March 2026 at 88,454 miles resulted in a clean pass with no defects or advisories. This consistency is rare for a vehicle of this age and suggests a rigorous approach to preventative maintenance. The mileage accumulation aligns with typical usage for a nine-year-old car, averaging roughly 9,828 miles per year. Usage patterns have increased recently, with the vehicle covering 9,854 miles between April 2025 and March 2026, compared to a lower gain of 4,131 miles between September 2022 and May 2023. The steady climb in odometer readings indicates the car has been in regular use rather than sitting idle, which generally preserves the health of seals and battery life. The absence of any recorded advisories over five consecutive tests is highly unusual. The tester flagged no issues with brake disc thickness, tyre tread, or suspension bushes, nor were there any mentions of exhaust emissions or structural corrosion. This suggests the previous owner replaced consumables well before they reached the legal limit. A physical inspection should still focus on common wear points for this model that MOT tests might overlook. Check the condition of the interior switchgear and the service history for evidence of gearbox oil changes. While the MOT record is flawless, verifying the timing of oil and filter intervals will confirm if the mechanical upkeep matches the clean DVSA data.
