2013 Vauxhall Corsa 1.2L Petrol · PO63 RPU

The vehicle is roadworthy as of the 4 April 2025 MOT, which passed at 113,215 miles but recorded advisories for near‑side front and rear tyre wear, front sub‑frame corrosion and a minor exhaust leak. The pattern of recurring tyre edge wear, unchanged sub‑frame corrosion and the same exhaust leak noted in 2023, 2024 and 2025 indicates a stable maintenance trend rather than a worsening one, though the 2 April 2024 failure for a missing off‑side rear wheel fixing shows a single lapse that was corrected for the subsequent pass. Mileage has risen from 94,324 miles in March 2022 to 100,369 miles in April 2023, then to 106,863 miles in April 2024 and 113,215 miles in April 2025. Each twelve‑month interval adds roughly 6,000 miles, well below the typical 8,700 miles per year for a vehicle of this age, suggesting moderate annual use and no periods of excessive accumulation. The record shows no large gaps, implying consistent MOT testing and therefore a reasonably complete service history. A prospective buyer should examine the tyre tread on both near‑side wheels for edge wear that approaches the legal limit, and verify that the front and rear tyres are free from punctures or nails. The exhaust system, particularly the flexi pipe, must be inspected for leaks that could affect emissions and fuel efficiency. Visual assessment of the front sub‑frame for any progression of corrosion beyond the noted superficial condition is advisable, as is a functional check of the off‑side parking brake and the rear wheel fixing that was previously missing. Finally, confirming that the coolant leak reported in March 2022 has been remedied will help ensure no lingering thermal issues.
