2026 MG HS Trophy Phev Auto 2.2L Hybrid electric (clean) · PW52 GMW

The most recent MOT on 30 October 2025 at 57,320 miles passed with no defects recorded, confirming that the vehicle remains roadworthy and that the maintenance trend is stable; the earlier failure on 10 October 2025, also showing no recorded defects, suggests a non‑mechanical issue or a clerical anomaly rather than a developing fault. The mileage trajectory shows steady use: from the August 2024 test at 51,543 miles to the October 2025 test at 57,318 miles the vehicle accumulated roughly 5,800 miles over 14 months, averaging about 5,700 miles per year, which is modest for a model introduced in 2026 and indicates limited annual mileage growth. A buyer should therefore inspect the suspension bushes and coil springs for wear, examine brake discs and calipers for binding or corrosion, verify the condition of the exhaust system and emissions output, and check the chassis for structural rust around the wheel arches and subframe, while also confirming tyre tread depth and wiper blade integrity as routine checks.
