2019 Ford Fiesta 1.5L Diesel · R22 JDH

This Ford Fiesta lacks any documented MOT history, rendering a formal roadworthiness assessment impossible. Without test dates, mileage readings, or advisory notes, there is no evidence to determine whether the vehicle’s condition has deteriorated, stabilised, or improved over time. The absence of records also precludes any evaluation of recurring faults, maintenance trends, or structural integrity over its operational lifespan. Buyers must treat this as a vehicle with no verifiable service or inspection history, necessitating a thorough independent inspection before purchase. Mileage data is entirely absent, leaving no basis for comparison against the vehicle’s age or expected wear patterns. The 2019 model year suggests it should have undergone at least three MOT tests by now—due in May 2021, May 2022, and May 2023—yet none are recorded. This omission alone raises concerns about either neglectful ownership or deliberate concealment of the vehicle’s condition. Without confirmation of mileage progression, potential buyers cannot assess whether the car has been driven sparingly or abused, nor can they gauge the wear on high-mileage components like suspension bushes, brake callipers, or timing belts. Given the complete absence of MOT data, an immediate inspection should prioritise critical areas prone to catastrophic failure or hidden damage. Focus on the suspension system for worn or leaking bushes and corroded coil springs, as these often fail without prior warning. Examine the brake system for uneven wear, binding calipers, or excessive corrosion on discs and pads, which could indicate past neglect. Structural integrity is another concern—check for rust penetration in wheel arches, sills, and the subframe, particularly if the vehicle has spent time in wet or coastal environments. The engine bay should be inspected for oil leaks, coolant contamination, or signs of overheating, while the exhaust system must be tested for excessive corrosion or leaks that could affect emissions and structural stability. Without prior MOT evidence, these checks are essential to avoid inheriting a vehicle with unresolved defects.
