2019 SEAT Leon Cupra ST R TSI 4DRIVE S-A 2.0L Petrol · R888 ABT

The vehicle presents as roadworthy following its most recent MOT pass on 14 July 2026, though the maintenance trend shows the emergence of minor wear-related issues. While the car passed without defects between July 2022 and July 2024, the subsequent two tests indicate a shift toward consumable component degradation. The July 2025 test flagged oil misting on the nearside front shock absorber and cuts to both nearside rear tyres, while the July 2026 test identified thinning rear brake pads. This progression suggests the vehicle is entering a phase where standard wear-and-tear items require more regular replacement. The mileage accumulation appears consistent with a typical usage pattern for a seven-year-old vehicle. The car has covered 57,064 miles, averaging approximately 8,152 miles per year. The recorded intervals show steady growth, moving from 25,716 miles in July 2022 to 32,342 miles in July 2023, then 40,929 miles in July 2024, 49,673 miles in July 2025, and finally 57,064 miles in July 2026. This steady progression indicates regular use rather than long periods of inactivity, which helps prevent certain types of seal degradation or fluid stagnation. A prospective buyer should conduct a physical inspection of the suspension system to determine if the light oil misting noted on the nearside front shock absorber in July 2025 has developed into a more significant leak. The recent advisory regarding thin rear brake pads in July 2026 implies that a brake service or pad replacement will be necessary in the near future. It is also advisable to check the condition of all four tyres and the overall brake disc surfaces to ensure no uneven wear has occurred following the previous advisories regarding tyre damage and brake pad thickness.
