2007 Audi A4 Sport 1.8L Other · REZ 5737

The vehicle maintains a clean bill of health, with the most recent MOT certificate issued on 13 October 2025 at 57,654 miles showing no recorded defects or advisories. This record indicates a stable and positive maintenance trend, as the car has achieved four consecutive passes without a single failure or minor repair notification. The lack of any flagged items over the past four years suggests the owner has adhered to a proactive servicing schedule, effectively mitigating the risks typically associated with a vehicle of this age. With a total of 57,654 miles over nineteen years, the vehicle averages approximately 3,034 miles annually, which is significantly lower than the national average. The mileage accumulation has remained consistent and gradual, with 2,099 miles covered between the August 2024 and October 2025 tests. This steady usage pattern is preferable to long-term storage, as it implies the mechanical components have been kept in regular operation, reducing the likelihood of seized calipers or perished rubber seals often found in neglected, low-mileage examples. Despite the pristine MOT history, a physical inspection should focus on age-related degradation that testers may not always flag. Inspect the suspension bushes, control arms, and coil springs for signs of perishing or corrosion, as these rubber and metal components deteriorate over time regardless of mileage. Check the underside for surface rust on the subframes and exhaust system, which can develop during periods of inactivity. While the clean test record is encouraging, prioritize a thorough check of the timing belt service history, as this is a critical maintenance item for this engine that falls outside the scope of a standard MOT inspection.
